<li>4 bone-in pork chops. 1-1/2 lb or 500-750 grams</li>

<li>1/2 cup of chicken broth</li>
<li>2 cloves of garlic, crushed or chopped very finely</li>
<li>1-1/2 cups cooked white rice (cold, leftover rice is fine).</li>

<p><strong>Directions</strong></p>
<p>Heat the oil in a large nonstick skillet on a medium-high heat.</p>
<p>Add pork chops; cook for 5 minutes on each side until browned.<br />
Add chopped peppers, pineapple, broth, dressing and garlic; mix well.</p>
<p>Bring to a gentle simmer.</p>
<p>Stir in the rice and cover. Reduce to a medium-low heat and simmer for 5 minutes or until the chops are cooked through (160°F). Remove from heat and let stand for 5 minutes.</p>
